10 Best 3 Wheel Pushchair-Related Projects To Extend Your Creativity

Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs

All-terrain stroller that is lightweight durable, sturdy and provides excellent maneuverability. Its one-hand fold is compact, which means it's easy to transport and also freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position and there's a giant storage bin and canopy. Baby-friendly? Yes with an additional carrycot.

Air-filled tyres and a good suspension can handle rough terrain. You can also use it for jogging. However, you must wait until your baby is at minimum 6 or 9 months old.

Ickle Bubba XL Air

This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a brilliant choice for parents who want a lightweight buggy with enhanced features. It is an entire travel system that includes a lie-flat carrycot for infants, a movable forward and rear facing pushchair seat as well as a choice of a car seat, meaning you can have everything you need in one place.

The XL Air is a really impressive car and it's easy to see why it has been awarded so many praises from customers. It's incredibly light - both the chassis and wheels weigh just 6.5kg and it's easy to construct. I was able get it up and running in less than five minutes. That's remarkable considering it also includes attaching fabric for the carrycot.

The seat is spacious and comfortable for Annie, who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was simple to use. The basket is spacious with plenty of space and I like that the handle bar comes with a pocket to keep your keys and phone safe.

The only downside is the handlebar is low, which can be an issue for taller parents. But, it's covered with a luxurious leather-like material that is soft and comfortable, and it wipes down easily, so it's still easy to push with children and bags on your hands!

Hauck Pushchair Runner

The Runner is a great choice for parents who like to explore and are always on the move. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be utilized on field and forest paths. The front wheel can be locked and can be swiveled to allow for greater flexibility. The stroller also comes with five-point safety harnesses with a front bar to keep your child secure on all journeys. The parking brake keeps the stroller stationary as you take a break. The seat can be repositioned to lay flat and the canopy can be opened maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30cm to fit mom or dad.

If you're planning a quick jog or a longer hike, the Runner is ready to join you on your journeys with a fully-flat lie-flat seat and suspension air wheels that promise a bump-free ride. The front wheel can be locked for greater stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit into car boot spaces and storage areas.

The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to maneuver for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebars are a bit higher than some competitors, so they might not be suitable for taller parents. However,  3 wheeler pushchair  is sturdy and versatile and is a good option by families with active children.

Red Kite Push Me Pace

The Pace is another great offering from Red Kite, an affordable British brand that is known for its easy-to-use and simple essentials for parents. It's the most recent - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller range and, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo, is car seat adaptable which means you can use it from birth (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace features some stunning design touches such as the rose gold hue to the hood, chassis and stroller trims to truly distinguish it from its competition. The car seat and stroller fabrics are fashionable in tan, grey, and cream. You can also choose to add handles made of leather and a bumper bar to match.

The stroller seat is used from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. It converts easily into a reversible 2-in-1 position, either facing the parent or world-facing. The stroller seat has several lie-back positions, plus comfortable padded leg rests, and an extendable sun canopy that has zip-off sections that are concealed, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.

Furthermore, when folded it's Pace measures 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which means it can be used as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among others. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and click into the right position.

Bugaboo Fox 5,

Created to be the ultimate all-terrain pushchair Bugaboo's newest Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis features a shorter wheel distance, making it more manoeuvrable than its predecessor. I tested it with my two kids one of whom is eight weeks old and the other toddler - on rocky pavements as well as grassy wooded paths and even cobblestones.

The large puncture-proof wheels - either 22cm or a bit larger - can handle a variety of terrains. They also come with a handy flap that can open or closes to allow more air to circulate if you need it and is a nice addition. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it doesn't feel bulky or heavy when you push it over bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric is machine washable, and the frame and faux leather grips are easy to clean. It's also a lot quieter than many pushchairs and I felt safe using it in busy city streets. A bonus feature is that it has integrated accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block out rain and wind, though it isn't particularly waterproof. It's a single pram but you can attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child some extra legroom. The bassinet took 20 minutes to set-up and it took about the same amount of time to convert it into an actual seat.

Whether you enjoy a morning jog in the cool air or a nighttime stroll under the stars, the UPPAbaby Ridge makes every moment a shared adventure. This all-terrain stroller is designed to keep you and the child active.

The large, foam-filled 12" and 16 "tires offer smooth rides regardless of the terrain. And the durable hand brake that is a performance disc lets you to stop quickly, even when running downhill.

The Ridge is at its best in every city scene from bustling farmers' markets to the street musicians playing music. Its large basket is big enough to hold your finds from the market and all of your baby's essentials, while the roomy canopy offers sun and wind protection. The oversized front canopy also opens to reveal two mesh peekaboo windows that allow you to observe your baby's surroundings.

The Ridge's reversible seat lets you choose whether your child is facing you or the world in front. The simple foot brake system makes it a breeze for new parents. The reversible handlebar on the back is a fantastic feature that allows you to adjust it to your height. And unlike other strollers that jog, the Ridge's fold is solid and self-standing when folded.

iCandy Core

iCandy’s new pushchair has many features that will be awe-inspiring to parents. It has a Multi-Mode Wheelbase and a groundbreaking LED Hub Light that is an industry first. It also comes with an integrated Ride-on Board which helps save on future costs and makes it simple for a tired toddler to accompany you on family outings.

The Core is available as a travel system or a single seat. It is compatible with the most popular car seats, such as those from Cybex Maxi Cosi Joie. It also comes with the largest seat in the iCandy range, meaning it will last your baby's early years and beyond. Like all iCandy pushchairs, this one is luxuriously designed and features premium knitted jersey fabric. The child's adjustable bumper bar and the handlebar that parents can adjust are made of soft leatherette. The calf support that folds away is also very comfortable for children.

I was amazed by how easy it was to fold and collapse - it only takes one hand, even with the seat unit in place. And it fits easily into your boot and hallway making it ideal for travel. The iCandy Core includes a variety of accessories, like a matching changing rucksack or liner/footmuff.
